Students who find they have too many courses that are waitlisted, and not enough courses that say "enrolled" should contact one of these areas today!

Please check out the Online Advising (OLA) website.

ATTENTION NEW FRESHMEN WAITLISTED FOR CLASSES :

Full-time freshmen should enroll in 12 to 16 units BEFORE the first day of classes. Freshmen who are waitlisted for high demand courses like ENGL 134 or SCOM 101/102 (GE Areas A1 and A2*) should consider enrolling in a lower division GE Area D* course (D1, D2, D3, or D4)* or a GE Area C3* course (except for SCOM 208, which has prerequisites) in order to reach full-time status well before the first day of classes. Remember ~ you can look up classes in PASS by subject or by area.

Please Note ~ If you were unable to enroll in specific desired A1* or A2* area classes in Fall, It is appropriate for freshmen to enroll in those classes in Winter or even Spring. Unfortunately, with such high demand classes, waitlisting is No Guarantee. Please seek out other alternatives that are appropriate to your major and plan as discussed with your advisor.

The only way to ensure full-time enrollment is to enroll in classes via CPReg BEFORE the first day of classes. After classes begin, instructor permissions are required to enroll in all classes.

* ~ GE (General Education) course (please check out OLA online advising for more information like this!)
GE classes provide a common foundation of knowledge for all undergraduate programs. General Education is divided into several Areas (A, B, C, D, and F). Students must complete all required areas. Some GE courses may be specified in your major or support areas. Check your curriculum display to see if this is true for your major.
